WHO IS VAL and RISSA
Val and Rissa first met in December 2013 at a friend's wedding in Bacolod. Val was the best man. Rissa is the friend/officemate of the bride. They were introduced but never spoke a word to each other on that day. But they became friends on Facebook. Rissa is a native of Cebu but works in Manila. Val is from the town of Binalbagan some 64 km south of Bacolod.
Rissa was set to go home in January for the Sinulog festival. And Val was keen on visiting friends in Cebu and likewise to take part in the festivities. So he told Rissa about his plan and so they both agreed to meet up in Cebu. And as they say the rest is history...
Val and Rissa are just like any ordinary couple. Sometimes crazy, sometimes sane. They argue on a wide range of topics - religion, showbiz, politics, what to eat, where to eat, how much to spend, where to travel.
Why they blog? Like any ordinary people out there, they hope to make money out of blogging. LOL. And hoping to become celebrities. Get some freebies, get invited to new product launches, get free airfares, free accomodations. Anything free! Seriously, Rissa is the blogger person, having started blogging in 2003 about a boy who she thought she was in love with. Val is the most opinionated person in the whole wide world, and uses Facebook as his means to let everyone know of his thoughts. So the blogger person + the most opinionated guy get together and produce this blog. Hoping they get followers and get those freebies coming. LOL
